Personally,I see the baritone as being the viola of the ukulele family of instruments. Like violin,it's bigger, and tuned differently. Nobody in an orchestra grumbles about violas-you never hear violinists muttering under their breath about "those violas have no place here-they're not of the violin family!" They are accepted and welcomed, embraced as an important member of the violin family with a slightly different voice. And so it is (or should be) with baritone uke.
I want to be writing more here but as of late my laptop starts acting up every time it gets to be a certain temperature and I can't do much. However, what I am working on is moveable chord positions to share with you for major, minor, and 7th chords. I will be doing more forms than that, and working with some gypsy jazz tunes and Holiday songs. So bear with me-I'm hoping to get the lap top looked at this week so I can get back to "normal" as far as writing and social media are concerned.
